BATTLEFIELD LASER DETECTION SYSTEM

KEEPING SOLDIERS PROTECTED FROM LASER-TARGETED WEAPONS

MITIGATING LASER-RELATED THREATS ON THE BATTLEFIELD

Laser-based threats are becoming increasingly prominent in modern warfare and pose a significant risk to deployed ground forces, whether from laser range finders, laser target designators, or laser spotters. Moreover, adversaries have increasingly come to use laser emitting devices as a means to actively neutralize optics and blind operators.

KWESST’s Battlefield Laser Detection System (BLDS) allows troops to be warned when lasers are being used against them, and to determine laser source range and distance

This high-tech solution detects laser bearing threats and enables next-level tactical edge survivability by pinpointing the exact location of enemy laser emitters.
