DIGITIZATION

KWESST’S BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGY

Our digitization technologies provide real-time situational awareness and targeting for ground forces.

AT A GLANCE

Our digitization technologies are geared toward meeting the challenge of digitizing the “tactical edge.” KWESST develops next-generation technology systems to provide real-time situational awareness and coordinated firing capabilities to military forces.

YOUR NUMBER-ONE SOURCE FOR SOLDIER DIGITIZATION

Our digitization technologies are aimed at addressing the challenge of fully digitizing the “tactical edge,” which includes commanders, soldiers, operators, and sensor systems conducting dismounted operations at the company and below.

KWESST Dismounted Digitization Architecture

Enabling operators and soldiers at the ‘tactical edge’ through a three-layered architectural vision that guides KWESST product and capability development strategies, and has, at its heart, a Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) integration and data-exchange approach.

ENTERPRISE COMMAND AND CONTROL (C2) GATEWAY

Modularity and adaptability through integration into higher level Land C4ISR open systems architectures via common messaging and data standards.

INTEGRATED FIRE MODULE

KWESST’s Integrated Fires Module (IFM) technology converts indirect legacy weapon systems into precision weapons without any modifications to the weapon or ammunition. Fully integrated with the Team Awareness Kit and the Tactical And Situational Control System (TASCS) application, the IFM enhances joint fires capabilities for a variety of tactical devices and equipment such as:

  • Heavy Machine Guns
  • Automatic Grenade Launchers
  • Mortars
  • Unmanned Aircraft Systems

Fits squarely with most “Joint Fires” modernization programs in the U.S. and other NATO countries.

FLEXIBILITY AT THE DISMOUNTED TACTICAL EDGE

Our advanced fire mission user interface capabilities are designed to provide troops with unprecedented precision and a tactical advantage on the battlefield.
